Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Columbus, OH, specializing in orthopedic and robotic surgery at a high-volume facility requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room unit in Columbus, OH
- Specialty focus on orthopedic and robotic surgery cases
- High-volume OR with patients of complex acuity
- Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Call requirements include 4–6 weeknights per month (8:30 PM – 6:30 AM, Mon–Fri) and 1 weekend call rotation per month (shifts may include Saturday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, or Sunday 7:30 PM–6:30 AM)
- No floating requirements
- Every other holiday required
Requirements
- Active OH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in a comparable setting required
- Strong orthopedic and robotic surgery experience required
- Large, high-volume OR experience required
Additional Information
- Candidate's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central OhioHealth facility in Columbus, OH to be eligible
- Requested time off (RTO) should be limited to 5–7 days for the duration of the contract
