Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in New Jersey, requiring an active NJ RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at a hospital setting
• PM shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Active NJ RN license must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across the Labor & Delivery continuum of care
• Document nursing process, patient progress, and education in Epic
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to prioritize and manage patient care based on individual needs and condition changes
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Epic charting experience is strongly recommended given its use on the unit
