Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an evening shift position at a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital on Staten Island, NY, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma, 700-bed academic teaching hospital setting (smaller campus)
• Performs diagnostic imaging studies on both adult and pediatric patients
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens radiography systems, GE C-Arm for OR, and a new GE radiography ED room
• EMR/systems include Syngo RIS, Siemens Healthineers, Carestream PACS, and Sunrise
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• ARRT R.T. (R) certification required
• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be offered a reduced rate
• Scrubs must have matching top and bottom in any solid color (no patterns); scrubs are not provided
• Open-toed shoes and excessive jewelry are not permitted; long hair must be tied back and beards must be trimmed for fit testing; no chipped nail polish
• Only AHA certifications are accepted for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northwell Health location may be subject to an eligibility review process
