Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position requiring at least 1 year of IMC experience, active CO or Compact RN license, and night shift availability.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 12-hour shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call availability may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Charting performed in Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Required certifications (must be AHA and active at time of start): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of IMC or relevant specialty experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for intermediate care patients
• Duties include patient health teaching, counseling, therapy monitoring, documentation, and patient referrals as needed
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Candidates should be prepared for a background check and drug screen process that may take at least 2 weeks
