Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- PT Acute Care Hospital unit with 1:1 patient ratios
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact placement
- All RTO or scheduling requests must be communicated upfront, as post-offer requests are subject to denial
- Solid navy blue scrubs required for licensed personnel; print tops are not acceptable
