Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift travel assignment in Miles City, MT, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for the unit — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the start of the assignment
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; collects and monitors health data; performs health teaching, counseling, and delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans; refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
