Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts in a 66-bed specialty hospital.
Details
- Long-term acute care (LTAC) setting within a 66-bed specialty hospital
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM start)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within the hospital or to a sister campus may be required based on facility needs
- No on-call requirements
- Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active NC RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry (MS/Tele) RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
- Previously employed staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months
- Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)
- Royal blue and white scrubs required
- Up to 4 days of requested time off (RTO) per assignment; additional RTO is at the manager's discretion
- Only 1 holiday off can be approved per assignment
