Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts at a 66-bed specialty hospital in North Carolina.

Details

  • Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting with 66 staffed beds
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM start)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating within the hospital or to a sister campus may be required based on facility needs
  • No on-call requirements
  • Charting performed in Epic (experience required)

Requirements

  • Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Royal blue and white scrubs required
  • Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the first day (estimated 4–10 hours)
  • RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days; all time-off requests should be submitted upfront
  • Only one holiday can be approved per contract
  • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning
  • Night shift travelers may extend up to two contracts before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months
