Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide imaging support in an OR-based vascular IR setting, with ARRT certification and both scrub and circulate experience required.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit providing imaging support in the OR for vascular IR procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating call every 4th week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• VA license required; pending licensure accepted if candidate holds a valid license in another state (estimated 8-week processing time for temp license)
• Both scrub and circulate experience required for OR-based procedures
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of DL and SSN card required for consideration
• Copies of required certifications required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Epic EMR experience preferred for float pool and inpatient unit assignments
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Floating may be required in accordance with the candidate's clinical experience
• Any planned time off between the sign date and start date should be communicated upfront to ensure an appropriate start date
