Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down Unit position at a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center, requiring a MO or compact RN license and night shift availability.
Details
- Step Down Unit in a large hospital environment with 352 certified beds
- The facility serves as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
- Only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha, supporting a broad regional patient population
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Charting is done in Epic
- Free parking on site
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license considered if in hand prior to start
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of Step Down or relevant RN experience required
- BSN preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced pay rate; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for full travel compensation
- The facility is part of a large health system with more than 60 hospital and area clinics offering urgent, primary, specialty, and emergency care
