Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring both OR Circulator and PACU experience, with mandatory Cerner proficiency and on-call responsibilities.

Details

Hospital-based Operating Room setting
Case mix is approximately 96% GI Endoscopy and EGD, with additional Orthopedic, General Surgery, Podiatry, and OB/GYN cases
Average of 6–8 OR cases per day
1:1 patient-to-provider ratio per shift
Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
On-call required every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday)
Cerner EMR experience is required

Requirements

Active New Mexico RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
OR Circulator experience required
PACU experience required
Cerner EMR proficiency required
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidate must demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and flexibility to stay beyond scheduled shift hours when needed
