Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring at least 1 year of experience, active RN licensure, and AHA-issued certifications, with Level 1 experience required.

Details

• Pediatric ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
• Level 1 experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications — both must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing assigned patient groups, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products, and communicating care plans with patients and families
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract
• Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, and medical documents) must be initiated immediately upon acceptance of an offer — compliance deadlines are strictly enforced and start dates will not be adjusted
