Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring at least one year of experience, AHA-issued certifications, and a valid RN license, with preference for Level 1 and CVICU or NICU experience.

Details

  • Inpatient hospital setting within a Pediatric ICU (PICU) unit
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
  • CVICU and NICU experience preferred
  • Level 1 experience required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — AHA-issued certifications only
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
  • Proficient in organizing, planning, and evaluating nursing care for patients with simple to complex health conditions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, regulating IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply; extensions are permitted only once, for a total of 26 weeks
  • Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon accepting an offer
