Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast center role requiring ARRT certification and experience in screening, diagnostic, and 3D/tomosynthesis mammography.
Details
- Outpatient setting, primarily at a dedicated breast center with potential support at a satellite location
- Breast center work includes both screening and diagnostic mammography; satellite location work is screening mammography only
- No biopsy experience required for this role
- Patient volume ratio of 10–15 patients
- Digital and 3D (tomosynthesis) mammography procedures performed
- Standard schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts rotating between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- During holiday weeks, schedule shifts to 4x10-hour shifts
- Occasional Saturday shifts required
- When working mobile assignments, hours may vary between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM
Requirements
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- ARRT Advanced Certification required
- Ohio Department of Health license required, if applicable
- Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography procedures
- Familiarity with digital Hologic (Tomosynthesis) equipment preferred
Additional Information
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography across primary and satellite outpatient locations
- No 30-day break between assignments is required to change representation at this facility (exception applies to Sterile Processing Techs)
- All time-off and scheduling requests should be provided at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
