Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift availability and weekend requirements.

Details

  • Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) at a hospital setting
  • Patient ratios are 1:1 in the CVICU and 1:2-3 in the ICU
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • Requires working 2 weekends per month (every other weekend)
  • Floating to other units is required
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply

Requirements

  • Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Prior CVICU or ICU nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • 13-week contract
  • Orientation is bi-weekly and auto-offered upon acceptance
  • RTO will not be accommodated during any holiday or holiday week, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
  • Travelers may discuss any holiday RTO requests directly with the manager after arriving onsite using the RTO form
