Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a regional medical center in Kerrville, TX, requiring ARRT(N) and CNMT certifications with at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Regional medical center setting in Kerrville, TX — located in Texas Hill Country wine country, approximately 1 hour from San Antonio
- Nuclear Medicine department
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Call rotation every three weeks covering M–F from 4:00 PM to 6:30 AM and full 7:00 AM–7:00 AM shifts on Saturdays and Sundays
- Weekend coverage required approximately every 3rd weekend, with 1–2 weekend shifts per contract depending on vacation and call-in needs
- Weekend call typically involves a couple of Stress Tests; techs collaborate to trade call as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT(N), CNMT, and BLS
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (TX MRT) certificate required — license required if applicable
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
Additional Information
- The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
