Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU Nights position requiring 2+ years of cardiac experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

  • Float position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
  • Cardiac patient population including post-cardiac cath and general cardiac care
  • Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend requirement (Friday and Saturday nights for night shift)
  • 13-week contract
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active RI or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required
  • Current ACLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required — must reflect prior use in a clinical setting, not obtained solely for compliance
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
  • Cardiac experience required, including care of post-cardiac cath and PCU patients
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide float nursing coverage across Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
  • Candidate must have experience caring for cardiac cath and PCU-level cardiac patients
  • Local candidates are accepted for this position
  • Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) may be required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC NIOSH resource
