Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment using Epic EMR in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

Details

• Acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Uses manifold equipment
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Primary schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts with the possibility of transitioning to 4x10-hour shifts
• Call responsibilities possible every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) certification required
• Valid, unexpired driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered; cumulative experience applies and travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year total
• All candidates will interview directly with a hiring manager
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
• Two references are required: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference; if the candidate worked at a permanent facility within the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
• 7 years of work history (or from graduation, whichever is less) with no gaps greater than 30 days is required; each work history entry should include hospital size, unit size, trauma level, and whether the facility is a teaching hospital
