Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid OH or compact RN license.

• Acute care hospital setting, Med/Surg unit
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Weekends required as scheduled
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Allscripts EMR in use
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• BSN is not required for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before re-applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
• Two references required: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference (e.g., Charge RN)
• Work history covering the past 7 years (or from graduation, whichever is less) is required, with no gaps greater than 30 days
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required
