Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring multi-specialty surgical experience including Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology, with on-call availability required.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Specialty surgical cases include Orthopedic, General, Neurological, Vascular, and Urology procedures
• Preferred experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmology cases
• Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts (10:30–21:00)
• On-call is required for this position
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1.5 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties (Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology) is required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
