Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring EKG competency, ACLS, and availability for night shifts with every-other-weekend commitment.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend, or 2 weekends per month required
• Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5; night shift ratio is 1:6, though a team nursing model with higher ratios may be used
• Floating to other units is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to start date
• Med/Surg nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
• RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day — candidates may discuss holiday RTO with the manager after arriving onsite
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible for a local pay rate
