Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient imaging center in Virginia, requiring ARRT certification, an ARRT Advanced cert, and hands-on experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography.
Details
- Outpatient imaging center specializing in women's imaging
- Mammography unit performing screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography procedures
- Variable daily caseload
- Schedule includes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (4x10-hour day shifts)
- No weekend, on-call, or float requirements
- Charting via Epic
- Equipment includes Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA (required); GE, Siemens, Philips, and Samsung Ultrasound (preferred)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
- Active Virginia state license required at time of consideration — pending or temporary licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced certification required
- Proficiency with PACS and outpatient imaging workflows required
- Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D (tomosynthesis) mammography required
- Experience with Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA equipment required
- License required if applicable

- RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion and must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
