Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring strong neuro skills and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Neuro ICU of a 356-bed non-profit, academic, and research medical center in St. Louis, MO
• Tertiary care facility affiliated with a major medical school and part of a larger health system
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, with the option of 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to ICU, TCU/PCU, and all hospital care areas within scope, including the ED to care for admitted ICU and TCU/PCU holds
• Charting via Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong neuro nursing skills required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Facility is an academic teaching and research medical center providing tertiary care to the east Missouri region
• Navy blue scrubs required
