Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre/Post-Op position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Pre/Post-Op unit with an average daily census of 25 patients across a 5-room unit
- Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Floating within scope is required and may include floating to an affiliate hospital nearby
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of Pre/Post-Op RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO of up to 5 days is generally accommodated; anything beyond 5 days requires facility approval
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
