Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Day shift schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
• ACLS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment, including delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
