Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a hospital in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of OR experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana (MT) or a valid compact license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for OR patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
