Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab procedures including PCI, stent placement, and right/left heart catheterization.
Details
- Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital
- Procedures include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Preferred procedure experience includes Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
- Preferred skills include Cerner EMR, acute monitoring, room circulator, and ACIST
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call requirement includes 1–2 weeknight call shifts Monday–Friday and one 24-hour weekend call shift per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of interventional cath lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- CCI RCIS or ARRT (R) required
- MD State License required if holding ARRT credentials
- Proficiency in cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment and function as a team player
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Candidates located within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Scrubs are provided
- Orientation is conducted weekly
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
