Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of acute inpatient or rehab experience for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment working Mon–Fri day shifts across two campuses.

Details

• Inpatient rehab setting covering Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed units
• Daily float between two campuses required based on census needs
• Caseload of 8–10 patients per day with one therapist on per day
• Common diagnoses include orthopedic/total joints, neurological conditions, strokes, occasional brain injuries, medical, and general ICU cases
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (0830–1700); no self-scheduling
• May be required to cover holidays
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Orientation typically consists of 2–3 days in the department; travelers should plan on a Mon–Fri schedule to accommodate onboarding

• Scrubs are permitted; specific color restrictions apply — approved colors provided upon hire
• No RTO (time off) requests or scheduling blocks will be accepted
