Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic and bariatric cases on a telemetry unit
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies
• Medication administration via Pyxis dispensing system
• Epic EMR in use; minimum 1 year of experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered but are encouraged to have at least 3 years of specialty experience
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible at the standard travel rate; candidates residing between 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• For this Day shift Med/Surg Tele position, the standard 100-mile system-wide radius rule applies
