Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Med/Ortho position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience, AHA-certified BLS and ACLS, and a CO or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Orthopedics (IMC) unit at a hospital in Golden, CO
• Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12)
• Weekend availability is required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
• Charting performed using Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg Orthopedics or IMC required
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care plans for orthopedic/IMC patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients as needed, and reviews treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Permanent staff who have worked at any Intermountain facility must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract (approximately 3 months)
