Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Med/Surg Orthopedics unit position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience, active CO or compact RN license, and AHA certifications.

Details

• Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a Med/Surg Orthopedics setting
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0730, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics or IMC nursing experience required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including ongoing health data collection and patient teaching
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, executes delegated medical functions, and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Former permanent Intermountain staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
