Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of experience and active TX or compact RN license, working night shifts at a hospital in Athens, TX.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and SAMA
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
