Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level II Trauma Center in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 5 years of OR experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• 10-hour evening shifts with varying start times between 9:00 AM and 11:30 PM depending on daily and weekly needs
• Schedule runs 4 shifts per week
• Minimal weekend requirements — no more than 1 shift per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirement
• Level II Trauma Center OR with a broad surgical services portfolio including neuro, vascular, da Vinci robotic, thoracic, GYN, urology, general, pediatrics, ENT, and plastics
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; MA Temporary License accepted
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience with a versatile OR background
• Trauma OR experience required (Level II Trauma Center)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• DOB and full Social Security Number required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and not expiring within 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but at a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccine medical and religious exemptions are accepted but documentation must be provided during the consideration process
• Blue scrubs are a safe color choice, though no specific scrub color is mandated
