Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Nashville, TN, requiring invasive cardiology scrub experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 125-bed hospital in Nashville, TN
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, PCI in a 24-hour STEMI facility, Cardio Memes, and implants (Loop, PPM, ICD)
• Specialty equipment includes IABP, Impella, OCT, IVUS, and FFR
• GE core equipment used throughout the lab
• Documentation systems: Mac Lab and Meditech
• RCIS techs available for unit support
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift
• On-call required on a rotating basis (one week on, one week off)
• Floating may be required to non-invasive cardiology, invasive cardiology, and IR per contract terms
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Invasive cardiology scrub experience is required; hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Scrub colors: red or black scrubs, or hospital-laundered OR blue scrubs
• The facility holds TJC accreditations in Chest Pain, Primary Stroke, and Joint Replacement (Hip and Knee), has received 12 consecutive Leapfrog A safety grades, and was voted a Top Workplace in 2023 by the Tennessean
