Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Stroke Unit (2S) travel position in Crestview, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and active stroke/NIHSS experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a focus on stroke patients
• Day shift schedule, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Stroke unit experience required
• Active AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) compliance required for all FL-based CHS travelers
• Valid U.S. driver's license required for consideration
• U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted

Additional Information

• NIHSS and stroke experience must be documented in your profile
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
