Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a night shift travel contract in Springdale, AR, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

• Emergency Services department within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 8-week contract duration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Dept RN experience required

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required (active, not pending)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER RN experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Valid U.S. driver's license required for consideration
• U.S. Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical leadership in the safe delivery of patient care within the Emergency Department
• Delegates patient care priorities and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
