Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position on a 7 Tower unit in Nashville, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- Located in a hospital setting on the 7 Tower Med/Surg unit
- 33-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Unit is staffed with a charge nurse, RNs, techs, and a unit secretary
- Documents using Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required; scheduling is flexible with time-off requests
- Travelers rotate floating coverage as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- White boards must be filled out as part of patient experience standards
- Scrubs must be navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray
- First-time travelers are welcome and have had great experiences on this unit
- The team is collaborative and works well together
