Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in a Physical Rehabilitation unit, requiring a current California PT license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Physical Rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Patient population includes those with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current California Physical Therapy license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability
• Practice is conducted in accordance with Physical Therapy and Hospital Policy, as well as state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements
