Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring 2 years of experience and an active CA state license.
Details
- Mammography department within an acute care health system
- Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as needed
- Shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
- Active CA CRT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Additional Information
- Independently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
- Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients and their support network
- May orient other staff to the department as needed
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
- Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
