Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week day shift assignment at a major academic medical center in Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Day shift hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Work setting is an academic medical center respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements

  • Current RRT certification required (must be in-hand)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACCS certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required; 4 years preferred
  • Valid state license required; VA license pending is accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before the start of the assignment (another active state license is required to be eligible for a VA temp license)
  • License required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
  • RTO is not available for Memorial Day or the 4th of July
  • Floating may be required in accordance with candidate's clinical experience
  • Academic medical center work environment
