Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) travel position requiring 2+ years of acute care Med/Tele experience and an active NV RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Acute care Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of full-time Med/Tele experience in a US acute care hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Active US Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, and completes admission assessments per policy and procedures
• Delivers age-appropriate, competent care to patients and families across the lifespan
• Interprets patient information and determines appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs
• All certification copies must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
