Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Jamestown, ND, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and a valid ND or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital Emergency Department (11-room ED)
• Patient population includes all ages; cardiac knowledge is preferred
• Day/night rotating 12-hour shifts
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No floating to other units
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Epic (ASAP Module); medication system is Omnicell

Requirements

• Active ND State or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Completion of an accredited RN nursing education program (BSN not required)
• Last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Flu shot required

Additional Information

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients of all ages using the nursing process, including patient and family teaching
• Works collaboratively with ancillary and interdisciplinary team members to maintain standards of professional nursing practice
• Epic ASAP Module training is provided during orientation
• 8-hour hospital and department orientation provided prior to start
• Required modules must be completed before the assignment begins
• Black scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted
