Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an outpatient Cath Lab/EP position at an ambulatory cardiology office in Burbank, CA, requiring EP or Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Outpatient ambulatory cardiology office setting
- Supports the EP Device Division, including remote report and alert management via MURJ
- Adult cardiac patient population — consults and follow-ups only
- Provides triage for urgent patient symptoms and supervises stress tests
- Supports the back-office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Floating between facilities within the state of California is expected
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; must be in hand within 2 weeks of applying
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- EP RN experience strongly preferred; Cath Lab or CVICU experience considered in lieu
- EP technician and device management experience required
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact the process
- RTO or scheduling requests must be communicated upfront — post-offer requests may be denied
- Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
