Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position in Corpus Christi, TX, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience, CST certification, and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Located in a hospital Operating Room with 11 ORs and 1 endoscopy suite
- 1:1 patient ratio in the OR setting
- Procedures performed include general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics
- OR equipment includes multiple types of orthopedic beds and 4 robotic surgery systems
- EMR system is MEDITECH
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Rotating weekend on-call is required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- CST certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience required
- BSN preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- High-energy, motivated candidates are the best personality fit for this team
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- 13-week contract
