Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a critical access hospital setting, requiring ED or critical care experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting with 23 total staffed beds
- House Supervisor role with floating responsibilities across Medsurg, ICU, and ED units
- Floating between multiple facilities within Oregon is expected and required
- Night shift (7p–7a) and Day shift (7a–7p) available, 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Patient ratios per Oregon state law
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Any color scrubs permitted
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- ED or critical care experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior House Supervisor experience preferred; candidates with Charge Nurse experience and flexibility to work in multiple hospital areas will be considered
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include covering meals and breaks across Medsurg, ICU, and ED units
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Oregon; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the submitting facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact candidacy
- All RTO or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- First-time travelers with ED or critical care experience will be considered
