Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Requires working 2 weekends per month
• Floating required to all 3 affiliated hospital campuses within a 20-mile radius
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting via Epic EMR
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic experience rated at a level 3 or 4 required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
