Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/Angio experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week contract assignment.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
- Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, kyphoplasty, peripheral and vascular studies, genitourinary studies, venous access, drainages, and LP myelogram
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM with rotating days off
- No floating within the facility or to sister facilities required
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of IR/Angio special procedures experience required
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Proficiency with PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration required
- Experience with IR/Angio special procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram required
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred

- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
