Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP travel position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active BLS certification.

Details

• Cardiology Cath Lab unit within a regional medical center setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call required approximately 8–10 days per month
• Weekend on-call required 1–2 weekends per month
• No floating requirement
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements timely interventions based on patient needs and outcomes
• Conducts Point of Care testing procedures as part of patient care
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Supports orientation of new staff and students on the unit
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate rather than the travel pay rate
