Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a valid LA or compact RN license and EKG/telemetry background, with night shift availability and weekend flexibility.
Details
- 12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating to all inpatient units is required
- Alaris Pumps are used on this unit
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling is not available on this unit
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Current ACLS certification required for charge nurse roles (AHA required)
- EKG/telemetry experience preferred
- Less than 2 years of experience will be considered
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Upon accepting an assignment, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team by their unit manager, with an expectation to remain on-site or serve on a relief team during an emergency event
