Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and offering night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or float requirements
• EMR: Meditech Expanse; medication dispensing via Omnicell
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Orientation is 16 hours, completed over either two 8-hour or two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• Candidates must provide 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
